Answer: Dear Khrystyna
Thank you for your enquiry, we do see patients who has scarring from cuts, and help minimise these as much as possible. The exact treatment depends upon the nature of the cuts, if they are flat, keloid, inflammed, red or white. We use steroid injections on keloid scarring to soften the scars then depending on site, size and nature we plan further . This could be plasma, needling, microneedling, radiofrequency with or without resurfacing with CO2 laser. We are also able to use vascular laser on red, spider veins on scars too.
As you can see there are a lot of different treatments with prices ranging from £295 for plasma treatment to £ for resurfacing treatments.
This would be discussed at your new patient consult which is an hour long consultation with Dr Anna Hemming to perform a thorough assessment and examination, and build the treatment plan for you. This consultation costs £195 and we would be able to book this for you by contacting the clinic as we need further details.
With best wishes

Answer: Thank you for your email enquiry.
I would like to invite you to come in to the clinic for a consultation with one of our fully trained and experienced practitioners. Please be advised this is a chargeable consultation and will be £50.
They can then discuss your needs and concerns thoroughly with you and create a personal treatment plan, recommending the best option. There are a few available for scar revision including:
Dermal roller: Skin Needling with a dermal roller produces hundreds of tiny dermal injuries, each one triggering the normal healing response within the skin. Successive treatments build new collagen progressively, filling in depressed scars and deep lines.
RF Microneedling: Minimally RF thermal energy creates fractional electrocoagulation in the dermis which facilitates a natural wound process (WHP). WHP promotes the remodelling of collagen and wound contraction, which improves scarring.
Co2 Laser Resurfacing: This method is very effective for older white scars. The Fractional CO2 and Erbium Lasers are particularly effective in the treatment of post traumatic, atrophic and acne scars. These lasers remove the very top layer of the skin and stimulate the growth of healthy new skin. When the new skin grows back it is smoother than before, and the appearance of the scar is normally reduced. Laser resurfacing may be riskier for individuals who have dark skin colours. Usually more than one treatment is necessary for maximum improvement
Dermal Filler: Can be strategically placed to fill in depressed scars and deep lines.
Steroid Injections: Can be administered into the hypertrophic or keloid scar. The raised scar tissue will become softer, flatter and whiter in colour, matching the surrounding skin. Steroid injections can improve symptoms such as itching or pain. Several sessions are usually required to produce good results. (If this is suggested, you will need to book a consultation with Dr Fatima, our Doctor in dermatology, this is charged at £175. Treatment prices also start at £175 and if this treatment is carried out on the day of the consultation, then the consultation cost is waived and just the cost would be payable.
The treatment recommended for you will depend entirely on the severity of your condition.
If you have any further questions or you would like to book an appointment for your consultation, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Alternatively, you can book online via our webpage.
Our opening hours are:
Monday to Saturday 9-5pm
I look forward to hearing from you.

Answer: Hello Khrystyna
RF microneedling for scars from cuts
RF microneedling (radiofrequency microneedling) is an advanced treatment that combines traditional microneedling with the delivery of radiofrequency (RF) energy into the deeper layers of the skin. It's increasingly recognized as an excellent treatment for scarring, including scars caused by cuts, lacerations, or surgical wounds.
Here’s a structured explanation:
1. How it Works
Microneedling component: Tiny needles puncture the skin in a controlled, uniform way, creating micro-injuries. This the body’s natural wound-healing response — stimulating collagen and elastin production.
Radiofrequency component: While the needles are inside the skin, they emit RF energy (heat) into the dermis. This thermal energy enhances collagen remodelling deeper than microneedling alone can achieve.
The result is skin tightening, smoothing of uneven texture, and improvement of scar tissue.
2. Why It’s Good for Scars from Cuts
Scars often cause collagen disorganization: Instead of the skin repairing neatly, it forms a tangled web of collagen fibers. RF microneedling helps reorganize and rebuild this matrix in a more normal, healthy pattern.
It can break down old, tough scar tissue while stimulating fresh, Lip Tattoo Lip Blush more flexible collagen.
Depth of treatment is customizable: For deep scars, the needles can penetrate further; for more superficial scars, settings can be adjusted accordingly.
Minimal disruption of the skin surface compared to aggressive resurfacing treatments, reducing the risk of worsening pigmentation or prolonged downtime.
3. What to Expect from Treatment
A course of 3–6 sessions spaced about 4–6 weeks apart is typical.
Visible improvements usually start to appear after the second or third treatment, with continued remodeling over several months.
Downtime: Expect redness, mild swelling, and a sensation like sunburn for 24–48 hours. Tiny scabs can form but fall away naturally.
Topical anesthetic is usually used, making the procedure very tolerable.
4. Limitations and
Results are gradual — it is not a "quick fix."
Not all scars will disappear completely, but RF microneedling often softens, flattens, and lightens them significantly.
Pigmentation risk: In individuals with darker skin tones, there is a small risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) if the settings are too aggressive; this is why an experienced practitioner is critical.
Not ideal for keloid-prone individuals: Those who form raised, excessive scar tissue easily may require a different management plan.
5. Comparisons
Better than regular for scar tissue because of the added collagen-stimulating heat.
Safer than laser (like CO₂ laser) for many people, when or pigmentation risk must be minimized.
RF microneedling is one of the most and effective treatments for scarring, especially from mechanical trauma like cuts. However, you need a to check it is suitable for your scars, we have extensive experience over the past 7 years getting excellent results with the Endymed RF system, and our team are medical and highly skill greatly influence outcomes. I generally prefer it over peels, dermabrasion, or lasers for linear or irregular scars from accidents — particularly because it can build skin strength without excessive surface damage and that means an easier recovery for you.
Prices are from £300 without RF to £400 with RF per treatment.
Kind Regards
