Amazon Cancels iRobot Deals

Amazon has canceled the planned acquisition of Roomba maker iRobot. The company stated that the deal faced "undue regulatory hurdles." The company will pay iRobot the breakup cost of $94 million.

The acquisition was deemed to be anti-competitive by the European Commission (the EU's executive arm, and the highest antitrust enforcement agency).
