This bagless wifi-connected OKP Robot Vacuum Cleaner - Auto-Recharging Pet-Friendly has an all-black, utilitarian design. Its cost is comparable to top-of-the-line smart robotic vacuums.

It can be controlled using the physical Clean and Dock buttons on the top, via the SharkClean app or with voice commands with Alexa and Google Assistant. It comes with a variety of smart features, such as home mapping and virtual no-go zones.

Matrix Clean

The top vacuum cleaner in America (based on NPD Group/Retail Tracking Service data). Matrix Clean features incredible suction power, Matrix & Precision Home Mapping and a self-emptying base.

SharkClean is an app that you can download to your smartphone to map your rooms. The app lets you create a schedule to keep your home tidy or you can choose rooms that you want to have the Matrix begin cleaning automatically. You can also create "no-go" zones such as closets or beds which you don't want Matrix to enter.

The app lets you make use of the "spot cleaning" function at any time. You can select a dirty area on your floor map and the robot will clean that area automatically with multiple swipes on its cleaning pad. It really does a good job of removing everything from dog hair tangles to tiny pieces of paper that were cut and scattered from a recent project.

The Matrix will return to its dock when it is done cleaning and empty itself into the bin that is included. This is a great feature because it reduces your need to perform maintenance.

This robot's LIDAR mapping sensor is situated right on top. This could make it difficult to get under low-lying furniture like tables and sofas. This is a great choice if you don't care that it's a bit taller than other robots. Be aware that this one does not come with an HEPA air filter, like some other models on this list.

Night or day, it creates a detailed map of your space to allow complete navigation without crashing into furniture and other obstacles. You can leave your robot to clean your home according to a set schedule or utilize the Matrix Clean on Demand app to set specific goals for each room.

Powerful Suction

The RV2502AE is a reliable mid-range robot vacuum that ticks all the boxes. It's easy to use, produces accurate home maps and has an empty bag that self-empties. It's also cheaper to run than other robot vacuums.

It has a lot of power. It utilizes its side brushes to push carpet fibers and hair into the brushroll. This helps prevent the build-up and clogging of the brushroll that is seen on other robotic vacuums and makes this one more effective in picking up pet hair.

Apart from its high suction and self-emptying base, this robot also has Matrix Clean Navigation for a thorough cleaning, Precision Home Mapping for objects to avoid, a high-efficiency HEPA filter that catches 99% of odors, allergens, and dust mites and two power modes to suit different flooring types, and the remote control that gives you access to all of its functions. Additionally, it is compatible with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant which allows you to initiate cleaning tasks without having to touch the robot.

While it's a great choice for the majority of homes but some may find its navigation capabilities problematic. This bump bot was having issues with stairs. Other bump bots are able to avoid them, but this one couldn't. It utilized LiDAR sensors as well as infrared sensors to map my home however, it kept mistakenly identifying the cat condo as a staircase and asked me to move it. In addition, it only had 180 minutes of runtime before it ran out of power, which was less than the advertised time.

Self-Empty Base

While this model is a little pricier than the other mid-range robotic mops that we've tried, it's well-built and has better performance on bare floors as well as a longer battery life, less maintenance requirements, and a greater variety of automation features, including virtual boundary markers. The iRobot Roomba i7, however is still our preferred option because it is more robust and more refined, is faster in charging and gets caught on rug tassels less frequently and has a larger capacity battery.

Easy Setup

The Shark AI Ultra comes with an easy-to-use schedule that requires just two inputs. You can choose the date and time of sunset and sunrise as well as the duration of the ramp time (increasing or decreasing the brightness), and whether you want to switch on the lights when it gets dark.
