The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It has a great mopping performance but lacks some of the features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. It does not use LIDAR, however, as other models do to identify your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and plenty of features such as a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the touch of one button. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or two thorough mappings of your home to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and clean big objects up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot says it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price tag.

Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to store the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot knows which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on higher-end models. The mopping system is superior because its spinning pads scrub floors more effectively than the vibrating pads.

The only downside is that it lacks a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an affordable cost to pay for if you want to get one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is larger than many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even at the highest dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings which are less powerful than high-powered ones, create little noise, so you can work or even watch television without being distracted. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and then move away if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical garbage into the bin hidden in the background and washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something is in need of attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to alter the way Q Revo handles your home. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwoods on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, and an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for reuse. It also features a new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the modern, sleeker design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best automatic floor vacuum and mop known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet high and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can use it even if you're not at home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature which allows it to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead just following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot for mopping. Its mop pads that rotate clean tough stains and its motor generates a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It has a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of convenience features you do not often find on robots at this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types, and it's one of the few that can automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These are nice features, but they also push the L10s into the premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

Designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving through the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. If you click it again, it will turn it off and send it to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel lets users to select cleaning options as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your house. This produces a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop efficiently, without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance that clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hardwood floor test and removing all but the most difficult juice stain. Its mops also do a great job in removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the floor or The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo the quaker oats that are on carpet.
