Its internal dustbin feels sturdier than other models, and the external dustbin is easy to lift open with levers. The virtual assistant and app setup took just a few minutes and the robot reacted to voice commands very well.

The j7+ is compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant and can be programmed to clean at different locations and at different times. We didn't find it to be as good at recognizing our voices, though and the robot's microphone picks up a lot of ambient noise, which can interfere with its voice-activated features.

Its performance on floor that is bare is quite impressive. It carries 9.35 grams per run. It may seem like a small amount, but it's enough to keep up with the manual cleaning required by an entire machine. It's not able to get up on high-pile carpet and it may be stuck on rug tassels. But, in the end it's one of the best robots for bare flooring.

You can also use the map feature of the app to view the areas that have been cleaned and which areas still require attention. You can also set up "no-go zones" that prevent the robot from entering certain areas or rooms you'd prefer to keep out of.

The 11s is great at removing large particles and fine dust from hard floors. However, it is unable to pick up small particles like baking soda. It also excels at picking up pet hair.

It's also not as intelligent as some other robot vacuums, and relies instead on bounce navigation instead of more sophisticated mapping software. This means that it ping-pongs around the floor until the battery is exhausted which isn't ideal for homes with a lot of furniture or particularly dusty.
