Then use a center stake to hold the stack straight and start adding perpendicular pieces to the edges of the stack, tying them together with string. Repeat this process until you have reached the ceiling height of your wall. You can then fill in the interior with odd-looking pieces, and those that are too big for the outer rows. It is crucial to remember that indoor stacking requires a room that has plenty of light and airflow. Because overcrowding an area can result in damp and moldy wood.
