The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It gives a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is integrated into the base of charging. Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the touch of a button. You can select an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum performs well on both bare floors and carpet with a low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do, and it can even pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot claims it will improve in the future with new models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that focuses on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes that this will allow it hug the furniture and walls. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common, but we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration which blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price tag.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that require extra attention.

It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move on whenever it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries, as well as refills the clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something is in need of attention, like the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled due to a full dust bin.

The vacuuming capabilities are also excellent, and it increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that comes with a host of convenience features you don't often see on robots in this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are useful however, they also put the L10s Ultra in the luxury category which could make it a little more expensive than the average homeowner need.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and identify them, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice stains.
