The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that's priced in the middle. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to tackle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard flooring. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to map out your home.

1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated Imartine robot vacuum vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is built into the base of charging. The robot also learns your habits of cleaning and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the touch of the button. You can select an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or two detailed maps of your space to ensure that your home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum robot performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with low pile. It can remove pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. We like the statement however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a bob robot vacuum that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on more expensive models. The mopping system is even better - its spinning pads clean your floors better than the vibrating pads.

The only issue is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but it's an acceptable price to pay if you want one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors. Filling it takes just two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or watch television without getting distracted. If it encounters a wall or furniture piece it gently smacks into it and moves on.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the bin hidden in the background, as well as washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something needs attention, imartine Robot Vacuum for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo handles your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of your home with different floor materials or if there's items that need to be cleared out regularly, such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets and hardwood floors on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can need. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that can better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, more modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet high and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the entire robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can handle a full cleaning of about 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're at home. It also has more mopping modes and a smart routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a set route.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also excellent, and it increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a large rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with a range of convenience features you don't often see on robots at this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features but they also place the L10s in the class of luxury. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish highlighted by mirror-plated silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which helps protect furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the house. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which is used as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and send it to its base station. The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability which clears 98.4% of debris from our hard-floor test and removing all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor or quaker oats on the carpet.
